Description

Sugared Strawberry fragrance oil is a sweet, mouthwatering strawberry scent. The strawberry top notes are enhanced by light notes of sweet nectar, green apples, and grape. Many strawberry fragrances fade quickly in cold process. This fragrance sticks like glue!

Testing Notes:
Tested 12/01/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 70 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. No acceleration or discoloration.

Tested again 3/16/19 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 70 degrees. Recipe is 40% olive, 30% coconut, 20% organic and sustainable palm, 5% sweet almond oil, and 5% castor. No acceleration. No discoloration.

Other Notes: 3/16/19 we made two batches of Sugared Strawberry. We accidentally used almost twice the use rate in the first batch, and the soap accelerated. The second batch experienced no acceleration. Because of this, we find it important to note that it is very important to use only the recommended usage rate of this fragrance. Otherwise, acceleration will most likely occur.

Acceleration in Cold Process: This did not accelerate for us using the recommended amount (6%) and soaping very cool (70 degrees) but many have reported acceleration. We suggest making a small test batch to see if the fragrance works well for you.
