A deep brown liquid, Neem oil has a distinctly earthy, garlicky aroma, that is quite pungent, and somewhat unforgettable!  Used in Ayurvedic treatments, skincare products, and as a botanical pesticide, Neem oil is a bit of a wonder product!

Neem oil has antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory benefits, which gives it a reputation for helping with acne, though this is typically anecdotally supported rather than through formal studies.

Neem oil is typically used at around 3-6% in cold process recipes
