Sourced from RSPO (Round table on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified suppliers, this Palm Oil is Mass Balance, Mass balance is a sourcing method that allows for certified and non-certified ingredients to become mixed during the shipping and manufacturing processes.  We’re currently offering Mass Balance due to supply chain issues meaning that our normal Segregated option is unavailable and is likely to remain so for some time.  Solid at room temperature, palm oil begins to melt around 44 degrees C.

A favourite of many soap makers, palm oil is typically used up to 40% in a formulation, giving a rich stable lather.
